Lat night I saw the Wild Hogs movie. It was all right and kind of struck a chord with the Tour. Coming home all I could think of was a tune from somewhere in the past. It just seemed to match the spirit of the Tour so I am nominating it as the official Tour song. It was "Born to be Wild" by Stepinwolf. The lyrics that kept going through my mind were:
Get you motor running,
Get out on the highway,
Looking for adventure and whatever comes our way,
Born to be wild.
Yes you would think it would be getting our kicks on Route 66, but somehow this tune just seemed more fitting!

wilds hogs is a great movie , and i think it reflects our trip coming upp this summer , bathroom breaks ever 15 minutes !
born to be wild is definatly a good pick ,, i was thinking , life is a highway from CARS is a good one too ,
but stepenwolf is more our era ,,lol
Yeah Jerry - it is from our era. Maybe someone will burn us a Route 66 Tour CD with all the appropriate songs on it. That would be great!
